TECTYL 800-D is a waterdisplacing, low viscosity coating and lubricating oil corrosion preventive compound. The film is a light, transparent oil.

TECTYL 800-D is formulated to meet Federal Specification VV-L-800 and MIL-P-1167 type P-9.

TECTYL 800-D is recommended for the protection and lubrication of small arms and automatic weapons, industrial equipment, tools, pneumatic controls and light duty machinery and motors in moist, cold conditions.

TECTYL 800-D also serves as a light gauge wire preservative and a tube coating for undercover shipment and storage.

Resists temperatures down to -60°C.
